Description:	Company Description: Established Winery/Vineyard Reputable within the Wine Industry and Local Community Vertically Integrated Growth and Expansion planned Cutting Edge technology and facilities Job Objective: *To engage public in an enjoyable wine tasting experience* Job Duties: To manage a profitable tasting room To oversee staff development and education Maintain control of merchandising & retail items to be showcased in the Tasting Room Ensure all customer service is at highest benefit level Work with management team to develop and strategize long term goals for tasting room, and its employees Oversee all visitor and hospitality needs Procure and maintain high quality merchandise to help generate traffic and sales in the Tasting Room Manage all personnel; oversee hours, training, community involvement, education and evaluation of department Plan special events to be hosted by Tasting Room team Participate in Monterey County Vintners and Growers Association with active status Participate in Salinas Valley Tasting Room Association with active status Prepare and administer accurate accounting documents and functions for all tasting room related activities, (payroll, merchandise purchases, orders, deliveries, cost analysis) Ensure that all staff is educated on Tasting Room Procedures and protocol as designed by human resources department and management team Conduct staff meetings and communicate with peers and senior management to alleviate any concerns, questions or suggestions Maintain and Develop initiatives for the Wine Club Oversee all marketing as it pertains to the Tasting Room Work with Sales & Marketing Team in cross functional projects Ensure that company mission is carried into Tasting Room atmosphere and goals Ensure that all guests to the Tasting Room and property have an enjoyable visit

Special Requirements:	Candidate Requirements: Personnel Management experience Wine Industry and Wine Tasting knowledge Retail Merchandising and Sales experience preferred Strong communication skills Team Player and strong leadership ability High Energy, must be able to work in fast paced environment Must be able to work nights and/or weekends Must be able to present self in a professional manner to best represent the company and its products Must have the capacity to multitask Must be able to think outside the box Must be able to carry a case of wine 40PLUS pounds Compensation: Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K, wine discounts, flex plan benefits, mileage for events Salary range depending on experience, bonus potential
