Description:	Established crop protection company with over 40 years of experience providing resources in biological pest control for the agricultural community seeks a Technical Sales Representative for the Northeast States. This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced, knowledgeable crop protection / crop science representative to grow within the biological side of the industry, an area with strong potential. Location for this position can be from Delaware up to the New England states. The territory of responsibility can potentially include Delaware through Maine. Primarily, the TSR position will be responsible for sales and service for all product lines, and will be developing the following markets: Ornamental Agricultural Outdoor Vegetable Overview of Ornamental Duties Actively develop the ornamental market in the Northeast region. Develop Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies for greenhouse ornamentals (introduction schemes, monitoring systems, etc.). Call on ornamental growers in the Northeast to support existing accounts and develop new customers. Discuss and develop IPM programs, develop biological solutions compatible with regional conditions. Overview of Agricultural Market Duties Continue to implement current programs and support product sales by providing customer service to individuals whom have received their product and need additional help in placement, have questions regarding performance, and so forth. Overview of Outdoor Vegetable Market Duties Actively develop the market for biological pest control in outdoor Eastern Vegetable crops, such as pepper, eggplant and squash. The position will develop alongside the sales and implementation of the products within the target growing region. TSR will provide general technical knowledge and expertise on company products to existing and new clients through regular visits to greenhouses and farms as well as qttending trade shows, exhibitions, grower’s meetings, seminars. TSR must promote the high level of service and technical expertise. TSR to develop protection programs and expand the use of company products as a first line of defense in crop protection. On site assessment of technical possibilities at customers' operations and discussing a work plan with commitment from both management and growers is key part of the position. The role will work with management on pricing, commercial agreements, reports, and customer relations.
