Description:
A top produce company is looking for a strong produce merchandiser to work with retail chains throughout the Bay Area of California. This position is instrumental in working directly with produce departments to display the product most effectively, ensure product is being handled properly, and the cold chain is being maintained.

The role includes use of a company car.

Qualifications Desired Include
  • Visit retail chain customers throughout the Bay Area region.
  • Set up produce displays, resets, tent sales.
  • Working with produce managers, merchandisers, and store personnel to ensure product is displayed, handled, prepared, and stored as best as possible.
  • Communicate with and work closely with company personnel including sales and logistics.
  • Solid produce background, ability to work with fruits, vegetables, items across all commodity groups.
  • Prospect new chains stores for future business.
  • Familiarity with the Bay Area, able to travel efficiently and effectively to stores in all sections of the region.
