JOB SUMMARY: Directs and coordinates the administrative and operational activities in line with regional strategies and organizational structures to achieve defined business objectives.
Directs and supervises the senior management team to; a). ensure adherence to local policies and operating requirements; b). ensure cooperation and alignment of managers with regional managers in the functions of sales, supply chain (seed production, logistics) and administration (IT, HR, Finance).
Contributes to development of regional strategic plans. The position reports to the President/CEO.

PRINCIPLE JOB ACTIVITIES
  • Coordinates with regional functional managers in oversight of day-to-day operational activities and outcomes in the functions of marketing, sales, product development, seed production, conditioning, inventory management, quality, shipping, information systems, facilities and office management, safety, security, personnel.
  • Participate in developing a business plan in line with regional goals; achieve goals and objectives according to budget and business plan.
  • Analyze and assess the organization’s performance against the stated objectives.
  • Provide vision and leadership to management team; guide performance of management via relevant key performance indicators, targets, and goal settings as appropriate.
  • Oversee project management and timeline management.
  • Coordinate with regional functional managers to develop performance objectives and align company policies and procedures as practicable.
  • With regional managers complete annual performance reviews for management team members.
  • Facilitate and strengthen infrastructure by nurturing ideas, supporting creative endeavors and fostering employee advancement, training and development.
  • Support the CFO and Finance Manager to develop necessary financial and business reports and processes.
  • Responsible for capital resource management including vehicles, equipment, buildings within capital budget approved by the President.
  • Accountable to secure, preserve and maintain company assets, including facilities, equipment, cash, etc.
  • Approval of expenditures up to $50,000, within area of responsibility.
  • Support audits and business reviews.
  • Business planning and monitoring key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate new ventures and business partnerships.
  • Oversee Human Resources management.
  • Manager and ensure enforcement of all policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement quality programs.
