Description: Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, Production Supervisor to identify, manage, and execute the plants process improvement opportunities. Manages production staff to attain production and quality goals. Identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues. Ensures production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules. Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team oriented work force in order to improve business results.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Plans and controls the operation process by maintaining good manufacturing procedures.
  • Actively observe, monitor and change the process of the area to ensure efficiency ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations regarding Occupation Health and Food Safety.
  • Promotes safety and ensures a safe work environment and employee work habits.
  • Motivates the team to improve quality, safety and cost performance.
  • Performs food safety inspection, monitors and assists sanitation Quality Control employees to ensure proper sanitation (HAACP and GMP’s).
  • Supervision of 70 Mill employees.
  • Analyzes and resolves work related problems or assists employees in solving work related problems.
  • Enforces company policies and safety regulations to employees.
  • Confers with other supervisors regarding equipment, safety, work schedules, discipline and company policies.
