Description: A rapidly growing manufacturer of highly advanced irrigation systems and solutions is seeking a District Sales Manager.
This position sells landscape irrigation products to the Landscape industry trade. (specifiers, wholesale distributors, landscape contractors and water districts/agencies).
The territory consists of Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
Reports to: Landscape and Turf Sales and Marketing Director
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Promote products to the landscape industry trade
  • Regularly call on specifiers including; Landscape Architects and Irrigation Consultants, municipalities and water district/agencies.
  • Actively manage distributor accounts/relationships at all levels.
  • Meet or exceed goals for sales, net income and marketshare.
  • Manage a sales territory, including: forecasting sales, market analysis, recommendations for credit decisions, maintain customer database and calendar of activities in Outlook.
  • Participate in regional trade shows
  • Conduct product training and demonstration classes
