Description: |
An established hothouse grower/shipper seeks a Senior Sales person.
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing relationships with retail and wholesale accounts, mainly on East coast.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain new and existing accounts
- Initiate customer visits and strengthen relationships with customers and prospects
- Identify new accounts and secure new profitable opportunities
- This position will work with management to develop strategies for growing a sales base
- Communicate Market trends within the team
- Maintain a weekly call log, for new and existing customers
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be organized, proficient in time management and have demonstrated knowledge in opening accounts and closing sales
- Must be organized, professional and able to 'manage accounts' and service an account base
- Minimal travel
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills

Requirements: |
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 – 10 plus years of hothouse experience preferred
- Good retail and wholesale contacts/relationships, preferably on East Coast.
- High level of energy, entrepreneurship and comfort working in a demanding high paced environment
- Valid Driver's license
- Valid Passport
