Description:	A well-established, import/export company of fresh produce, has a need for a Processing Production Manager to oversee all of their day to day production operations based in Oxnard, CA. The Processing/Production Manager will possess certain fundamental skills and characteristics such as: communication skills, flexibility-facilitate change, dedication to quality work, and the effort and willingness to meet employee and customer needs and expectations. EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS Five or more years of agricultural commodity experience in fresh pack production (fruits or vegetable) or agriculture processing production (ethanol, meat packing or other related production). BS degree in agricultural, agribusiness, or related fields (preferred but not required). Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite. Working knowledge of food production equipment and processes. Knowledgeable in complying with GMP, USDA, Food Safety, and HAACP requirements. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Superior organizational skills with the ability to look ahead and anticipate problems. Flexible schedule depending on the season. FLUENCY IN ENGLISH/SPANISH IS REQUIRED!!! Must have valid driver’s license. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. to be considered for this position.
