Description: |
A well-established Southern California based grower of fresh produce, is seeking New Product Trial Manager. This role oversees implementation and technical aspects of new product trials across various crops.
Key Responsibilities include:
This role will have many facets. The responsibilities start with seed cultivation and breeding, through harvesting, scheduling and supply chain management.
- Develop an evaluation/data gathering platform to track yields, sizing regional adaptability, disease resistance and other agronomical traits.
- Provide recommendations from trial results to the breeders, trial officers, growers and operational regional managers.
- Manage the trial schedules based on the seed development phases
- Provide valuable feedback throughout the entire supply chain
